SALARY: £30,000-£35,000 plus £12k comms

We are working with a fantastic new client, a leading Specialist Distributor, a global business with over 750 employees and a turnover in excess of €600m. With UK offices based in Uxbridge we currently have 2 open positions. We are looking to hire a Channel Account Manager who will be looking after and growing some of the less spending accounts, this role requires someone with experience of managing reseller partners, someone ideally from an IT distribution or reseller background who understands the commercial partnership and can help grow these accounts further. Job Specification: Channel Account Manager - IT Distribution
As a Channel Account Manager, your role is to manage around 20-30 small VAR / Reseller partners that my client deals with. You’ll be responsible for managing quotes, processing orders, conducting regular meetings, calls and visits, and growing your existing customer base.
You’ll need to work closely with Product Managers, providing feedback on market pricing, commercial agreements, and product placement.

We are looking for people who have experience in IT Sales, whether that be working for an IT reseller, IT Distributor or IT Vendor. Ideally you will have experience managing relationships with customers and will know how to proactively work with them to achieve growth.
In Addition you’ll need to have the ability to:-
Communicate effectively with your team as well as customers.
Manage multiple orders and multi-task
Work well with the sales team around you and product management team
Report and forecast
Achieve set KPIs and targets
