Sales and Tendering Engineer
You'll be visiting potential clients to secure business, agree scope of works, prepare costings and regularly engage with new and existing customers and our wider business. You will engage internally with the Market Managers, our tendering, operations and technical teams. And by reaching out externally to new and existing
customers, you will understand their specific requirements to enable you create compelling, innovative product value propositions.
You will thrive on achieving business targets by growing new customers and increasing our market segments through your market intelligence and insight. Your exceptional interpersonal skills will strengthen business relationships and as a confident, articulate, communicator your will be a great ambassador for our brand.
About the Role:
Driving Transformers business through sales and tendering.
Implementing the local product marketing strategy
Visiting potential clients to present offering, agreeing client requirements, product value propositions and product positioning and tendering of defined scope.
Involved in the market analysis with the Sales team, responsible for forecasts and detailed business/marketing plans for allocated areas of the portfolio.
Achieving business targets through regular review of sales and tendering activities and implementation of improvement/focus plans as needed.
Understanding Customer Service principles and their effect on the business.
To ensure compliance with Quality Management System, Safety Procedures and Accountancy Policies and approval procedures

A Degree or HNC/HND in Engineering or similar. 2 years years of experience in Sales and/or tendering
Preferably from a background in a Power Engineering industry with focus on service and after sales
A passion for sales in a technical setting and familiar with prospecting and closing deals with customers
Familiar with sales and marketing tools such as Sales Force/digital marketing tools -LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Travelling and frequent interaction with customers are expected, mainly within the allocated markets (UK and IE)
A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, with strong communication and customer-relationship-building skills
