Are you a Service Sales Engineer or Sales Engineer with a flair for building relationships and capitalising on strong account management?

Either way, this is a great role covering the Midlands and East Midlands and supporting both existing and new customers with maintenance, repairs, renewals, rentals and turnkey installations of a range of HVAC systems.
The role involves providing customer value through technical and commercial expertise and expanding the percentage of customers with direct service agreements from an installed base of equipment or turnkey installations.
You really do need to be an excellent relationship builder for this role, who enjoys visiting a wide client base regularly to identify new, existing or future opportunities and working in a very busy role to specific targets.
A large part of this job (80%) is supporting existing clients with renewals, quotes, repairs, servicing etc. The rest is new business and building up your pipeline of leads. With this in mind, you will need to be quite methodical in managing your territory but with the ability to change your plan/day if a customer/prospect needs you.
Main duties to include
Maintain and grow the territory to maximise consistent customer/order acquisition
Acquire customers and orders for service products
Convert leads into opportunities and manage the sales process
Identify and develop opportunities with existing and new customers
Prepare and present proposals, ensuring high customer satisfaction
Foster customer growth and loyalty through continuous support
Maintain updated customer database
Implement regional and local service business programs
Achieve sales and customer development targets
Develop and execute account-specific project plans
Assist customers with technical questions on systems and products We are looking for:
Regional or Sales Engineer experience, ideally within the HVAC or engineering sales sector
Stable sales background
Relationship builder with resilience and a positive, friendly approach
Ability to adapt to varying levels of customer
Experience covering the Midlands territory
Motivated to deliver, with an innovative approach
Familiar with utilising CRM and MS Office software
Attention to detail and excellent collaboration skills
Demonstrated mechanical and electrical knowledge/understanding In return you can expect:
