Position Overview:
We seek a detail-oriented Design Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for fire and security systems. The role involves interpreting blueprints, working closely with design teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Estimating: Develop accurate cost estimates for fire alarm, suppression, intrusion detection, access control, and CCTV systems.

Collaboration: Work with design and project teams to align estimates with project requirements.

Documentation: Prepare and submit bid packages, including estimates and design drawings.

Client/Vendor Relations: Communicate with clients and vendors to clarify project needs and secure competitive pricing.

Quality Assurance: Ensure estimates meet industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.

Experience: 3-5 years in estimating within the fire and security industry.

Skills: Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., AutoCAD, Bluebeam), strong analytical and communication skills.
