The role will involve managing engineers across the region. Responsibilities
Managing a team of forklift engineers across a region covering East Midlands
Visit customers to ensure service levels are consistently improved
Managing service contracts for material handling equipment
Reporting directly to the National Service Manager in suggesting service improvements to forklift trucks
Monitor costs and revenue within the service department
Requirements
The role requires an individual with previous experience of Service Management. Although ideally from a material handling background, the company would also consider individuals from a variety of other industries provided you can show evidence of having managed service teams and customers successfully. Strong leadership skills are also required as is the ability to contract manage and maintain the highest of service levels. In terms of location, you can be based anywhere in the East Midlands.
