Job Title: Interim Procurement Category Manager
Location: Redditch (on-site up to 2 days per week)

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Procurement Category Manager for a 6-month interim role within the NHS. Based in Redditch, you will work on-site up to 2 days per week, managing procurement categories to ensure efficient and cost-effective purchasing. Your expertise will be crucial in driving value and improving procurement processes within the healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage specific procurement categories, ensuring compliance and value for money.
Develop and implement category strategies aligned with NHS guidelines.
Liaise with key stakeholders to understand and meet their procurement needs.
Monitor supplier performance and negotiate contracts effectively.
Requirements:
Proven experience in procurement, ideally within the NHS or public sector.
Strong understanding of procurement regulations and best practices.
Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
Ability to work on-site in Redditch up to 2 days per week
