Job Title: Sales Manager - Packaging Machinery Systems

Role Overview:
We are seeking an ambitious and driven Sales Manager to spearhead our new business development efforts. This role is ideal for a "hunter" with a strong track record in securing new clients, rather than an "account manager." You will be responsible for selling capital equipment to key industries, including FMCG, food, and pharmaceuticals.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive new business sales of capital equipment within the FMCG, food, and pharmaceutical markets.
Manage a complex, long-term sales cycle, often extending beyond 12 months.
Achieve sales targets ranging from £3M to £5M annually.
Handle projects with an average order value of £500,000.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities.
Colding calling and prospecting
Generate leads
Fill a diary up and convert into machinery sales
Selling via 3rd party on full line integrations
Managing sales process with 3rd party & end user
Targeting blue chip food FMCG companies
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience in selling capital equipment within the FMCG, food, and pharmaceutical sectors is essential.
Demonstrated ability to manage long sales cycles and close high-value deals.
Strong business development skills with a "hunter" mentality.
Salary & Benefits:
Basic Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
Commission: 2% on sales, with on-target earnings (OTE) of £100,000.
Holidays: 25 days
