AMJ Recruitment are recruiting for one of our prestigious Client based in Coventry (CV2), for x1 Permanent Warehouse Team Leader to join their small but growing team.
Based - Coventry, CV2
Salary - £26000 to £27000 per annum
Working Hours - 09:00am to 17:30pm (Mon-Fri)

Job Summary: To coach, communicate and co-ordinate with the warehouse team, to build and maintain positive relationships and lead the day to day activities smoothly and highlighting any training needs from warehouse operatives.
Duties include:
• To maintain effective communication with the team to ensure that tasks are consistently delivered.
• To coach the team to adhere to all Health and Safety processes and challenge if any are not being followed.
• To co-ordinate the team to use colleague’s strengths to have a smooth operation.
• To create a positive team culture in the warehouse.
• To motivate and inspire colleagues to deliver to the best of their ability.
• To drive the warehouse operation forward by looking for ways to improve the business and productivity.
• Ensure all Health and Safety checks are conducted within timescales.
• Communicates with the purchasing team to co-ordinate incoming deliveries.
• Helps with regular company stock takes to ensure all product quantities are correct.
• To collate employee’s issues and be the point of call for all warehouse operatives.
• To check all dispatch orders to ensure order accuracy by completing 2nd checks.
• To feedback any issues to the warehouse team.
• Grouping of deliveries to make each journey more cost effective.
• Liase with the customers for the best suitable delivery day and time and meet the customer’s requirements.
• To arrange the schedule for the company van and resolving any issues the driver may have.
• Liase with the warehouse team and Sales team to make the deliveries a smooth operation.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to find out when orders are due to be delivered to customers.
• To support the warehouse with picking when needed.
• To ensure a picking list is printed for each order to be checked.
• Utilise the van to full capacity for all journeys.
