What You Will Be Doing

Technical Support: Provide technical development and Level 3 operation support, ensuring smooth deployment and updates.

Cloud Management: Deploy, automate, manage, and maintain AWS/Azure cloud-based production systems.

System Management: Oversee the creation, release, and configuration of production systems, ensuring their reliability and efficiency.

Troubleshooting: Conduct system troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms.

Process Improvement: Recommend architecture and process improvements to enhance system performance.

Metrics & Monitoring: Define and deploy systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring on AWS/Azure platforms.

Automation: Design, maintain, and manage tools for automating operational processes.

Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues promptly.

API & Micro-services Design: Translate business and functional requirements into technical designs for APIs and micro-services.

Testing Support: Support testing cycles, ensuring that defects are resolved efficiently.

Automation & Release: Work on automating and improving development and release processes.

Project Planning: Participate in project planning and management decisions to ensure successful project execution.
What We’re Looking For

Technical Skills: Excellent hands-on experience with Python, Linux Shell, Databases, Web services, REST, Nginx, Prometheus, Kubernetes (K8s), Azure AKS, AWS EKS, DevOps Pipeline, Loki, and ELK.

Language Proficiency: Proficient in English and Mandarin/Cantonese.

Problem Solving: Self-driven, proactive, and capable of demonstrating initiative with solid problem-solving abilities.

Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Secure SDLC: Strong experience in Secure Software Development Lifecycle.

DevOps Experience: Previous experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role.
Preferred Skills

Experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.

Broad understanding of data protection, encryption, and key management.

Familiarity with deployment tools like IntelliJ IDEA and JIRA.

Broad understanding of Oracle, MySQL, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.

Offshore Collaboration: Experience working with offshore development teams.

Automation: Proven experience in creating highly automated infrastructures.

Programming Skills: Good knowledge of Python, Java, and cross-platform development frameworks.
