Our client, a premier provider of cutting-edge material handling systems is seeking a Finance Assistant to play a pivotal role in our Finance department, supporting business operations and contributing to our continuous growth and innovation.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the international team to handle month-end accounting entries for fixed assets, prepayments, and accruals.
Assist in fulfilling reporting requirements for both the business and head office.
Prepare detailed monthly reports on outstanding invoicing related to Service department projects.
Conduct monthly analysis of project costings, comparing actual expenditures with budgeted amounts, and providing insights to management on project progress.
Generate monthly performance analyses for the Service department, focusing on spare parts delivery, repairs, maintenance, and 24/7 support.
Compile balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis for management review, addressing any outstanding items promptly.
Aid in the preparation of year-end audit files, facilitating smooth communication with external auditors as needed.
Provide backup support for the Accounts Assistant role, including processing purchase invoices, managing payment runs, bank entry postings, and invoicing customers. Key Skills:
AAT Level 2 or Level 3 qualification preferred.
Proficiency in various software and computer systems, particularly SAP.
Demonstrated experience in accounting.
Strong computer literacy with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
