Description
Our local government client is recruiting a Business Support Officer. An experienced Business Support Officer within the Safeguarding Children's Partnership Service team to support the Executive Board Members and other Team members and sub-groups, ensure local multi-agency safeguarding arrangements operate effectively, and support the delivery of safeguarding arrangements to multi-agency partners. Ideally, the candidate will have knowledge and experience of children's safeguarding.
Responsibility
Provide administrative support, adhering to the customer service performance standards and meeting the requirements of service level agreements in all areas of the postholder's responsibility.
Qualification – Essential

GCSE Grade A-C (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics.

NVQ Level 3, BTEC Business, equivalent experience.

Advanced –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Social Media.

Must have strong organisational and administration skills and be highly skilled in all IT systems.

Must be experienced in arranging meetings, preparing agendas, and taking accurate minutes.

Must have experience in producing a range of reports and data.

Excellent knowledge and application of IT systems and software packages.

Excellent word processing skills and ability to compose letters and email correspondence on standard issues.
