Elevation Recruitment Group are exclusively partnered with an exciting food manufacturing business in Rotherham who are looking to recruit an Engineering Stores Coordinator as they look to launch a new product in the UK. Reporting to the Engineering Lead this role has responsibility for the hand’s on management/organisation of the engineering stores to maintain the highest standards of quality and service to the maintenance team.
Working hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm or 9am – 5pm
Salary: £38,000-£40,000

Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for the timely ordering and receipting of engineering parts, including the sourcing of alternative parts as items become obsolete.
Maintain correct stock levels for all stores items and critical spares in Maximo.
Maintain a tidy and safe stores area, always.
Provide the Engineering Lead with reports relating to stock control and expenditure.
Carry out routine checks on equipment such as the fire alarm system and steam generator and meter readings.
Perform stock movement reviews adjusting stock as required.
When requested, support to other departments with O Cloud ordering.
Adopt and develop a safety performance culture of ‘not walking past a risk or a problem.’
Report any health and safety concerns as they occur, escalating where appropriate.
Where required, assist with completion of risk assessments and health and safety / accident investigations that address root cause.
I'm keen to speak to Stores Coordinators with the following skillset:
Previous experience of working in a stores environment
Good knowledge of engineering parts and suppliers
Experience with operating ERP systems (ideally Maximo).
Able to work under pressure and constantly re-prioritise ensuring the right focus is in the right area.
Operates efficiently and able to work to tight deadlines.
Flexible with a positive attitude
Well-presented individual with demonstrable inter-personal and communication skills.
Able to work unsupervised and on own initiative, challenges the status quo and is sensitive to the needs and demands on others.
Good Literacy and numeracy skills.
Experience of setting up stores department (desirable)
Enthusiastic approach and self-motivated. Identifies opportunities for improvement without guidance
