I am recruiting an urgent temporary assignment on behalf of a private equity backed business, which is enjoying a period of growth through acquisition. They are based in a village close to Cambridge, and require the interim to be in the office most of the time.
They are hiring an interim Finance Manager to support the Finance Director for a period of 3-4 months, until the new Financial Controller joins the business.
The successful candidate will ensure the integrity of financial information through the operation of an effective processes and control environment. You will support the Finance Director through performing the month end accounting and close process as well as processing the monthly payroll.
Duties include;
Calculation and posting of month end journals including accruals and prepayment journals (incl rebates), and dept recharges
Calculation and posting of monthly payroll, bank reconciliations,
Monthly close of ledgers in accounting system
Production of monthly departmental accounts
Preparation of cashflow forecasts
Review of accruals and prepayments as required

Depreciation & Fixed asset Management
Ability to respond to ad hoc financial reporting requestInterested candidates will be available at short notice and be willing to commit to a 3-4 month assignment. You will be a qualified accountant with relevant experience, any experience within a project based environment would be advantageous
