NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER – HOLMES CHAPEL - £30000 - £35000 plus annual bonus
We are working with a market leading construction related company based in Holmes Chapel. We looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their small team. Although this is a National Account Manager role you will be in the office most of the time with the occasional visits to clients. This is a company that genuinely looks after their staff and believe in a work/life balance. This is a very busy and challenging role.
NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER JOB PURPOSE
This role requires an outgoing and tenacious National Account Manager to cover the UK and Eire. Working within the construction sector the role requires an energetic and dynamic person who thrives in building and retaining business, offering exceptional customer service and being a pivotal part in the continued growth of the company. With minimal cold calling the role mainly works with existing, established clients, maintaining relationships, providing solution and technical advice and utilise buying signals.
NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER DUTIES
Lead and manager client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
Conduct technical discussions with clients, architects, contractors and end users
Manage accounts activity and sales progress
Through effective communication, understand client needs and provide tailored solutions
Working on a national basis but based 95% of the time within the Holmes Chapel office
Sales analysis to identify trends and opportunities
Minimal cold calling
No call targets
NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience in a technical sales or account management role would be ideal
Ideally but not essential to have worked/dealt with the construction industry
Must have B2B experience
Proven experience dealing with high profile accounts
Experience managing accounts and being responsible for retaining and growing existing clients
Passion for sales and managing accounts
Able to deal with technical experience
Ability to prioritise
A real team player
Due to business location own transport is essential
Some travel to visit clients – all expenses covered
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER PACKAGE
Working Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-4pm
£30000 - £35000 dependent on experience
25 days holidays plus bank holidays
