Key Recruitment are currently recruiting for a stores person to work for our client based in Fareham.
We are looking for a stores person who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, where no two days are the same. You’ll be working in the stores and despatch team, providing excellent service to all areas of our business. Your willingness to work flexibly and proactively across the department is exactly what we are looking for. Experience in warehouse work, ideally a manufacturing environment, adaptable and flexible. As a Stores Person, you will help to drive success by ensuring that deliveries are forwarded to your internal customers on time, as well as updating the business system for accuracy and kit picking for the manufacturing teams. The cycle count that you undertake each day will maintain an accurate stock record throughout the year.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Keeping the store fully stocked
Exceptional customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to stand for long periods
Knowledge of point-of-sale greet customers and provide product information
Unpack and label incoming shipments
Inventory management and stocking shelves
Maintain store cleanliness and organisation
Receiving and dispatching goods from the stores
Managing stock levels
Storing goods received appropriately
Resolving discrepancies in the delivery of goods
Experience with Microsoft Office
Training will be given on the stock control system
Hours:
Monday-Thursday 08:30-17:00 and Friday 08:30-12:00.
Pay:
£12.30 per hour starting salary.
