The role:
Community care planning, allocating and evaluating the workload of the care/support workers to ensure a safe and effective service delivery. Particular attention should be paid to providing continuity of care/support to individual service users

Manage the Domicilary care in the community

Ensuring that any sickness/absence is adequately covered.

Participate in the recruitment of care workers in line with company policies and guidance
-
Ensuring that all recruitment checks are satisfactorily completed.
-
To work with Care Coordinators as required to ensure a smooth changeover is affected where necessary between areas of responsibility.
Other areas of your duties will include:

Quality Control, carrying out Reviews, Risk Assessments & monitoring Spot Checks to include report writing and attending Social Services meetings.

Informing / Communicating with service users any changes affecting their care

Health and Safety

To carry out any other tasks required by the Registered Manager that are commensurate

with the level of responsibility
Educational/Training/Qualifications required
-
NVQ 5 (Leadership & Management) or equivalent essential
-
Minimum 2 years at line management level, in a similar role or professional qualification with
-
2 years’ relevant care setting experience
-
Full driving licence
-
Good literacy and numeracy skills
-
Good presentation skills
-
Computer literate
-
Understanding of legislation concerned with care provision
-
Administrative experience
