Role: Workholding Sales Representative
Salary: £32,000
Location: Nottingham
The Workholding Sales Representative is a key member of the Sales team and is required to build close relationships with our customers dealing with technical sales enquiries, producing quotes and being able to source solutions to meet their needs.
Job Summery
Manage all customer inquiries, including onboarding, quoting, issue resolution, and offboarding.
Collaborate with all departments to meet targets and swiftly address any issues with corrective actions.
Oversee project management for larger orders from initiation to completion.
Maintain and update the Order Book to ensure all information is current.
Issue designs to Production, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to timelines.
Duties and responsibilities
Communicate with suppliers as needed.
Raise and follow up on purchase orders with suppliers.
Attend weekly Sales meetings and coordinate with Production for manufactured items.
Schedule and arrange installations.
Prepare dispatch notes and pro-forma invoices for customers.
Collaborate with External Sales on potential inquiries.
Conduct initial customer contact via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
Understand and interpret customer requirements accurately.
Follow up on quotations promptly to secure profitable orders.
Ensure quick processing of orders and provide necessary design and manufacturing information to relevant departments.Key Requirements.
Self-motivated and dynamic, with the ability to develop strong relationships.
Experience in an engineering-based company with knowledge in Workholding is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong communication skills and the ability to recognise and seize opportunities.
Excellent organisational skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Full driving license and eligibility to work in the UK
