We are seeking an Area Delivery Manager to support our project planning, development, and delivery activities. The primary focus will be on delivering settlement tank scrapers, chemical dosing systems, and other related products, along with assisting in the delivery of larger contracts as needed. This role will be centered on projects within the Severn Trent Water and Anglian Water regions, with additional support for other regions as required.

Location:
This is a home-based role within the target region, with the possibility of hybrid working. The position requires local travel, some nationwide travel, and occasional visits to our Group headquarters in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
General Duties:
- Support Project Managers in delivering water and wastewater treatment projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with site and office-based personnel on each project.
- Conduct site visits to plan, monitor, and finalize project delivery activities.
- Maintain positive communication with client site teams and all project personnel.
Project Planning & Communications:
- Prepare health, safety, quality, and environmental documents, including Design Safety Plans, Construction Safety Plans, Quality Plans, and Risk Assessments.
- Plan timelines for all installations from contract award to completion, including handover of documentation.
- Organize, plan, and attend technical meetings with clients and consulting engineers.
- Ensure all project documentation is current and properly stored within project folders.
Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ):
- Enforce safe work practices on-site, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures throughout the installation process.
- Report accidents, incidents, and near misses to the Project Manager and Safety Manager.
- Liaise with internal safety officers, auditors, and external bodies during site inspections.
- Work with project managers and design teams to incorporate health and safety considerations into all aspects of design.
- Record and close out non-conformances, identifying corrective actions and preventative measures.
Financial Responsibilities:
- Coordinate financial aspects of the project with the Project Manager.
- Manage the purchase and acquisition of project components, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Handle invoicing and debt retrieval as necessary.
- Input relevant data into the company’s internal IFS system and retrieve financial reports as required.
Other Duties:
- Attend Contracts team meetings, either in person or remotely.
- Assist in managing the regional office when necessary.
- Maintain and nurture customer relationships.
- Produce case studies of completed projects.
- Undertake other duties as needed, consistent with your skills and role requirements.
Key Skills & Experience:
- A degree in engineering or science, or an HND or equivalent qualification.
- At least three years of experience in project management or delivery management within the utilities sector or M&E engineering environment.
- Experience in the UK water industry is highly advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple projects or initiatives simultaneously.
- Advanced MS Office skills, with the capability to analyze and manipulate data sets.
- Strong report writing and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Analytical and interpretive skills, with an ability to present data in a clear and relevant manner.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to the role.
- Willingness to travel nationwide, including overnight stays, and to visit our Group headquarters in Ireland.
- Full driving licence (any existing endorsements should be declared).
