Employee Relations Manager

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Employee Relations Manager to join their HR team and play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing their workplace culture.
The Employee Relations Manager will be responsible for managing and resolving employee relations issues, ensuring compliance, company policies, and supporting a positive and productive work environment. This role involves working closely with employees and managers to address concerns, provide guidance, and implement effective solutions.
What the role will involve
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, including conflicts, grievances, disciplinary actions, and terminations. Ensure all matters are handled with fairness, consistency, and in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures. Provide guidance to managers and employees on policy interpretation and application.
- Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts, facilitating communication between employees and management to foster a positive work environment.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints or concerns, documenting findings and recommending appropriate actions.
- Design and deliver training programs for managers and employees on employee relations topics, such as conflict resolution, performance management, and workplace harassment.
- Prepare and maintain records and reports related to employee relations activities, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Work collaboratively with the HR team to support employee engagement initiatives and foster a culture of open communication and trust.
Experience for the role
- 5+ years of experience in employee relations or human resources management.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience conducting investigations and handling complex employee relations issues.
