International Sales Engineer

Elevation Recruitment are delighted working in partnership with this Global Engineering business to recruit and International Sales Engineer.
This role will be office-based with regular travel into Europe to meet with customers.
Experience in an Engineering environment is essential.
Responsibilities
Regular visits to customer’s premises to develop and maintain excellent customer relationships
Investigate current and future business opportunities within a designated sales area with both existing and potential customers
Work closely with other companies within the Group to develop business within a designated sales area
Maintain and develop industry and process knowledge
Feedback information to be provided through the visit report system
Process enquiries and sales orders for both contract and parts sales
Respond to customer enquiries in relation to quotations, and orders
Communicate with all internal departments to provide accurate information to customers
Work as part of a team to achieve Company sales and margin targets
Attend team meetings to contribute to the sales and marketing strategy of the Company
Provide accurate information to assist with sales forecasting
Skills and Experience
Previous experience in a sales environment is essential
Engineering experience is essential at any education level
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal at all levels of a business
Good organiser and multi-tasking skills
Computer literate and with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
Good team player
Able to work on own initiative and unsupervised
Additional language skills would be beneficial
This role will require the post holder to travel worldwide in the execution of their duties
