As the Assistant Marketing Manager at HC-One, you will play a crucial role in supporting our care homes to build their local reputation and drive high-quality enquiries. You will be responsible for executing cost-effective local and regional marketing activities and campaigns that align with HC-One's commercial objectives, vision, and aspirations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervisory Management: Oversee Marketing Executives, conducting weekly catchups, personal development plans, and growth conversations.
Best Practice: Ensure adherence to best practices within the team, proactively sharing ideas to enhance local marketing support.
Campaign Delivery: Assist the Marketing Manager in delivering marketing strategies and campaigns consistently across all channels at a local level.
Collaboration: Work closely with regional Commercial Business Partners (CBPs), Operations teams, and the wider organization to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate local or regional marketing activities within budget and timelines.
Monitoring and Review: Regularly assess customer feedback, engagement data, and competitor insights to identify opportunities for improving local marketing effectiveness.
Content Creation: Develop bespoke local content and assets to support occupancy and reputation-building campaigns, events, and initiatives.
Content Management: Ensure all local and regional marketing content is up to date across print and digital channels.
Social Media Management: Oversee content on HC-One’s local and regional social media sites to achieve follower, engagement, and reach goals.
Strategy Development: Identify and recommend local marketing strategies, media channels, and opportunities, including 3rd party referral sites, digital marketing, local publications, leaflet drops, and events.
Brand Alignment: Ensure all local marketing activities and materials align with HC-One’s commercial objectives, brand guidelines, vision, and values.
Effectiveness and ROI: Use insights to evaluate and report on the effectiveness and ROI of local marketing campaigns and activities.
Promotion: Work with the Communications team to promote marketing support available and drive engagement with local marketing initiatives.
Team Support: Collaborate with the wider marketing teams to support overarching team outcomes.

You are a driven and experienced marketing professional ready to take on a supervisory role. You have a strong background in marketing administration and coordination, with a knack for creating effective marketing and communications plans. Your excellent communication skills and ability to build positive working relationships are key to your success. You thrive under pressure, managing multiple projects and deadlines with superb time management and attention to detail.
Skills and Experience:
Desirable: Knowledge of the care sector.
Essential: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience: At least 3 years in a marketing role (Administrator, Coordinator, or Executive level), with experience in creating marketing plans, writing briefs, developing systems, and supervising junior team members.
Qualifications: A-Levels or equivalent in Marketing, Business, or Administration; GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (grade 7 or above).
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Analytical: Ability to collate, evaluate, and make data-driven recommendations.
Relationship Building: Able to build positive relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
Time Management: Excellent time management and ability to prioritize workload.
Independence: Able to work independently or as part of a team.
Problem-Solving: Able to identify challenges and opportunities and recommend solutions.
Detail-Oriented: Diligent with superb attention to detail.
Creative Solutions: Experience using marketing and competitor insights to generate creative marketing solutions.
Digital Proficiency: Experience providing digital and social media marketing solutions.
License: Full, clean driving licence and access to own vehicle.
