Priding themselves on providing a world class service, our client is looking to recruit a HR Advisor to join their team. The successful candidate will support the HR team providing advice and guidance on a full range of routine and complex HR matters.
In the role of HR Advisor, you will be responsible for:
Providing specialist case management guidance to Staff Managers and colleagues, advising on the interpretation and application of policies, procedures, and legislation
Analysing and assessing employee relations situations, including competence, capability, redeployment, redundancy, disciplinary cases, and grievances, working with Staff Managers on managerial interventions
Overseeing the issuance of contract variations and associated documentation, ensuring correct actions for colleague changes
Providing advice on the legal and HR implications of service redesign and reorganisation, ensuring proper consultation and processes are followed
Producing and analysing monthly, quarterly, and annual HR metrics, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, and review/redesign of HR policies, procedures, and toolkits
Coaching and guiding Staff Managers through HR cases, support culture change projects, and collaborate on colleague engagement initiatives
We would love to see your CV if you have the following:
CIPD level 5 or equivalent experience
Proven experience in a previous HR advisory role
Strong knowledge of employment legislation and best HR practices that include disciplinary & grievance, sickness absence management, employee relations, data management and recruitment and onboarding
Experience of researching, creating, reviewing, and amending HR Policies and policy implementation
Ability to prioritise, organise and manage own workload to meet tight deadlines
Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
Good IT Skills, MS office proficient
Full driving licence and own vehicle with the ability to drive to different sites
Based in the historic University City of Bangor, this is a full-time, fixed term position working 37 hours per week initially for 6 months, that could be extended to 12. In return you will receive an annual salary of £31,063 pro rata with the flexibility of some hybrid working.
