Product Specialist - Field Based
Our client are a respected local manufacturer and have two vacancies for Product Specialists, candidates will be based at their site in Lye but required to work on the road responsible for launching new products
Ownership of the New Product Introduction process:
Management of the product lifecycle from product launch to discontinuation
Responsible for all elements of the marketing mix with support from the marketing coordinator
Conducting market and competitor analysis
Setting end product and spares market pricing
Developing marketing proposals for new products i.e. brochure, social media, plans, etc…)
Raising and managing internal
Input into commercial strategies with National Sales Manager, Marketing Manager & Commercial Director via New Product Commercial kick off meeting
Delivering product sales & technical training for new products to both internal and external customers
Creation of sales support tools
Supporting with general business functions:
Attending key account visits
Monitoring and owning product quality / post market surveillance
Developing and delivering product presentation and training to both internal and external customers
Supporting key accounts with responding to advanced technical queries
Assisting ASM’s and key customers with client specific support
Developing and delivering internal training i.e. sales meetings and product training
Attending events and exhibitions – supporting setting up the stand and being on stand responding to questions and queries
MANDATORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Observe at all times the Sunrise’s business code of conduct “Do the Right Thing”.
Perform role in accordance with all relevant quality standards and adhere to all relevant processes / policies within the GMS.
Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety / Environmental and Welfare requirements.
Ensure general housekeeping requirements are adhered to.
SUPPLEMENTAL NOTES:
A flexible approach to duties must be taken
Other duties may be necessary as and when required to fulfil business needs
The job holder will have to be willing to transfer into other areas within the business
The job holder will be involved in the cross training of other Associates
The job holder should be self-motivated and able to work in a demanding team environment

Business Management Bachelors
Product Management qualifications

2 years’ experience of in a product management or business management role
