We are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis. You will join a friendly team based near Chelmsford.
This role will be full-time in the office, Monday to Friday, with free parking.
As the Accounts Assistant you will heavily focus on purchase ledger. You will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Manage the accounts payable ledger- processing supplier invoices/statements and processing travel allowances and credit card statements
Provide month end support, including journal processing and nominal ledger reconciliations
Process daily cash and bank statement entries, including bank reconciliations
Provide support on the accounts telephone line
General accounts & administration dutiesKey Requirements:
Two years’ experience in a similar role is necessary
Due to their location, you must be able to drive
Experience with Sage desirable
Must have excellent attention to detail
Ability to prioritise your workload efficiently and effectively
Excellent communication skills
