Salary Range: £28,000 – 35,000 per annum DOE + red-hot benefits

Our Team
The Forward view of change schedule is a newly introduced process which will mature over time. This will follow various scheduling and change booking methodologies based on risk appetite, congestion on the schedule and marrying that with conflicts against change free periods in the calendar. The ultimate aims of the team is to work with change owners and senior colleagues to ensure changes are scheduled effectively and reduces risk appetite on the route to live service.
You’ll work alongside change owners and LTC’s to coordinate the incoming change propositions in readiness for the various Change Management assessment boards on a weekly basis, running parallel with their process and procedures. The effective management of inflow will assist in the smooth delivery of change in a structured controlled way whilst ensuring change conflicts or periods of heightened risk are mitigated.
Having a controlled way of managing the change schedule will both influence scheduling decisions as early as possible in the lead up to change as well as encourage change owners to engage on the process and take a more assertive role in managing their own timeline, both of which will encourage a consistent approach from project / change to production.
What you’ll be doing
Hold regular change scheduling sessions with key quorum members to build out the ‘Forward View of Change’ for the coming scheduling period.
Production of the daily schedule highlighting key areas of interest to Management and interested parties. Developing a real time technical view of IT changes across the estate.
Updating and maintaining key artefacts to SharePoint thus ensuring up to date information is available to all stakeholders, including the forward plan and highlighting periods of heightened risk appetite.
Develop actions process in chasing any change deviation or challenging scheduling periods based on risk appetite or conflict elements that manifest in the review.
Point of contact for change owners looking to schedule change. Using own technical knowledge of the IT estate as well as collaborative technical discussions with owners and consultants in decision making.
Develop and maintain tracking log of changes where actions are required, changes have been accepted onto the schedule or more detail is required for changes to be assessed.
Develop and maintain appropriate and effective MI and risk assessment reporting capabilities crossing sections of Change Management in readiness for periodic review.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of standards, processes and practices across the change lifecycle to ensure buy in of principle change owners in the process.
Actively influencing behavioural change in the scheduling process with change owners and technicians, ensuring early as possible assessment and risk rating of change is applied.
We need you to have
Experience of the Change Management lifecycle and associated methodologies in Service and Project delivery
A logical mindset in following technical discussions to build consensus and good outcomes in scheduling
Experience of managing stakeholders across all Departments
Experience in transformational change in an IT Operational context along with associated technical attributes
Ability to decipher and articulate technical debate and change methodologies
Experience in or appreciation of Technical Delivery Planning.
It’s a bonus if you have but not essential
Knowledge of Information Technology technologies
Knowledge of existing and emerging Change Management processes
Knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems and services.
An appreciation of the various emerging IT Technologies within Service Sector / Industry
