This financial banking organisation is seeking an Account Management Executive to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing SME retailer accounts and driving growth through effective account management. The successful Account Management Executive will have proven experience within a customer facing role and the ability to build and develop business relationships.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity and will be worked on a remote basis however travel to London and the Basingstoke office will be required to suit the business needs.
Duties:
Responsible for managing a portfolio of existing SME retailer relationships as part of the pooled account portfolio to drive profitable growth and meet key KPI targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and develop ongoing stakeholder relationships at identified key retailers.
- Hit and exceed key business KPIs, including loan applications, originations and profitability
- Input and maintain all CRM records for the pooled account portfolio in line with the account management engagement framework
- Drive growth through effective account management, focusing on retailer credit strategies and identifying growth opportunities within the existing proposition.
- Oversee the on-boarding of new retail partners into the pooled portfolio, in line with the relevant internal governance procedures.
- Ensure all activity is fully compliant
- Evaluate performance of retailers, understanding the profitability drivers and the levers for the portfolio.
- Work closely with internal departments in overseeing the implementation of pricing changes, systems updates, dealing with customer claims & complaints, retailer training and associated materials.
- Oversee and take ownership of the Residency scheme within the pooled account portfolio, monitoring performance, collating retailer qualifications for the following Financial Year.
- Analyse and interpret retailer MI prior to the production of review meeting packs presenting commercial recommendations to key stakeholders within retail partners.
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrate experience in successfully building and managing relationships
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to engage with different level stakeholders
- Salesforce experience is desirable
Knowledge and Behaviours
- Basic understanding of financial sector products, key concepts and regulations is advantageous
- Ability to work within and knowledge of regulated credit environment
- Proven ability to understand the key commercial drivers of consumer finance schemes
- Ability to work across a number of functions and skillsets including commercial, strategy, proposition, marketing, risk, operations and technical
