Contracts Specialist
We are currently recruiting for one of our clients, a global healthcare company, at their Head Office in Maidenhead. This would be working as a Contracts Specialist, dealing with large managed service contracts between the client and 3rd parties such as NHS customers.
We are looking for someone who has a keen eye for detail who can spot the potential risks within these contracts, looking at things from more of a legal angle. Good negotiating skills and being able to build and maintain relationships is key as there is potential to onboard new customers and bring in new contracts too.
Key Details
Main Accountabilities

Manage and negotiate MSC contracts

Advise and support the commercial team on client and third-party contracts

Onboard new customers and negotiate contracts within NHS and MSC timelines
-
Ensure effective contracting within the supply chain to meet management and revenue goals

Handle daily MSC and supply chain disputes

Provide contract and legal consultancy to the commercial team

Conduct risk management analysis for tenders and contracts
-
Oversee the approval and governance of contracts, ensuring supplier compliance with ISO standards

Resolve contracting and delivery issues as needed

Prepare tender documents and presentations with the Contract Manager

Stay updated on changes in government and NHS legislation, market conditions, and competitor activity
Requirements
-
Degree level or equivalent
-
Experience as a key account/contracts manager
-
Good knowledge of NHS environment/initiatives
-
Skilled negotiator and experience in influencing key stakeholders within finance and procurement

Knowledge within tender processes

Understanding of procurement legislation

Excellent interpersonal skills
-
Good presentation and written communication skills
