Accounts Assistant

Elevation Recruitment Group Accountancy & Finance are working with a fantastic business in the Doncaster area as they look to recruit an Accounts Assistant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the credit control process, with a focus on regularly reviewing debtor accounts and pursuing overdue payments
Provide weekly updates on aged debts to the financial controller
Handle sales ledger tasks, including the preparation and issuance of sales invoices and credit notes
Perform daily cash book entries and reconciliations, ensuring all bank transactions are accurately posted and reconciled
Manage purchase ledger activities, including the entry of supplier invoices and reconciliation against goods received notes where applicable
Carry out general administrative tasks, such as scanning, filing, and assisting with incoming department calls
Experience and Skills Required:
A proactive individual with strong communication and organisational abilities
A detail-oriented and eager professional who works systematically and with great attention to detail
Proficient in IT and administrative tasks
Excellent communication skills, with a confident and professional telephone presence
An exceptional eye for detail
