Anderson Knight are recruiting a HR Business Partner for a full time, permanent position based in Glasgow. This is a key role which has been newly created to support a division of the business which is growing. The HR Business Partner is a full time, permanent position based onsite with occasional travel, therefore a drivers license would be required.
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.

Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to both employees and managers.

Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and retention processes to ensure we attract and retain top talent.

Implement and manage performance appraisal systems, ensuring clear communication of expectations and regular feedback.

Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.

Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Support the business through organisational changes, providing expertise on best practices and minimising disruption.

Track and analyse HR metrics to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
Key Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of HR generalist experience, preferably within the construction or related industry.

CIPD qualification is highly desirable.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.

Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and support stakeholders at all levels.

Proactive and solutions-oriented approach to addressing HR challenges.

In-depth knowledge of employment law and best HR practices.

Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
