This growing supplier of licenced and well-known branded textiles, soft furnishings, clothing, and toys is seeking a Merchandiser to join their growing Merchandising team. This fun, rewarding business who promote extensively from within and have a great social element to the business are seeking someone from an import/export/product/fmcg background, to join the merchandising team. You will work closely with the B2C customers. The role will involve: -

Very import biased, this role will be liaising with their UK and European factories as well as dealing with their online and Amazon customers

Managing orders and stock levels and forecasting

Ensuring that replenishment buys are recommended

Analyse stock coming in and out ensuring stock purchase proposals are approved

Working on their ERP system (Prima)

Work with suppliers to ensure they meet all delivery requirements
-
Create and progress purchase orders
-
Ensure all factory paperwork is correct to avoid delays

Work with the product team to plan all work and to avoid delays
-
Responsible for the correct instructions being given to factories for bespoke customers packaging/delivery requirements

Maintaining their ERP system (Prima) to enter new records

Using MS Excel to look at stock data, and to manage it
Experience required for the role:
-
Merchandising, Assistant Merchandising, Buying or other office-based experience within an import/export/licenced goods/textiles/fashion or other product-based experience is essential

Experience of using an ERP system, for example Prima, SAP, or MS Navision

Confident user of Excel, including pivot tables

Able to get to Cheadle Hulme
