We are seeking a dedicated Peripatetic Principal Social Worker to support the Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) Team and Practice Improvement in Intake and Assessment (I&A). This hybrid role requires you to work 3 days a week, with at least 1 day in the office. This dual role is essential for ensuring excellence in practice and leadership within our service.
Key Responsibilities:
UASC Team Management: Lead and manage a small team of 5 practitioners, ensuring that Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children receive the highest standard of care, including effective assessments, care planning, and legal interventions when necessary.
Practice Improvement: Collaborate with Team Managers and the Operations Manager to develop and implement strategies for practice improvement in Intake and Assessment, with a focus on supporting career progression from Newly Qualified Social Workers (NQSW) to Senior Social Workers.

Requirements:
Degree in social care
Social Work Wales registration
