Job description - the role
AMS is the world's leading provider of Talent Acquisition and Management Services. Our contingent Workforce Solutions (CWS) service acts as an extension of our clients' recruitment team and provides professional interim and temporary resources. We partner with Arup to support contingent recruitment processes. On behalf of Arup, we are looking for a Front of House Receptionist for a 3 month contract based in Cardiff.
Candidate Profile: Key accountabilities, skills & experience
What are the Core Duties of the role?
Scheduling appointments via Excel, taking inbound and outbound calls,
Managing inbox and calendar.
Providing an excellent experience for our internal and external visitors to the office
Demonstrating sound knowledge of Arup procedures and in-house systems
Understanding the link between all Business Services disciplines and being able to draw on these relationships to deliver high quality outputs both to internal and external clients
Being aware of H&S best practice and have an interest in fire and first aid roles
Providing cover for facilities colleagues (post/couriers)
Booking taxis and dealing with invoicing
Supporting with client and social events
Assisting with ad hoc requests to ensure the smooth running of the office
What are the key skills we are looking for?
IT skills
Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Be experienced in standard office administrative procedures, including Microsoft packagesAbout the client
