This role's focus is to support ETCS operational improvement within the Thameslink Core , taking learning and information from this scheme into the wider Long Term Deployment Plan (LTDP) for ETCS including the East Coast Digital Programme and Brighton Mainline Schemes . This role will w ork with internal and external stakeholders and be responsible for supporting the ERTMS team to continuously improve ETCS functionality on GTR's network.
Principal accountabilities
You'll be responsible for gathering information on operational incidents and support with schemes to drive improvement across the Thameslink Route.
Working as part of GTR's ERTMS Team you will work collaboratively between the cross functions of Infrastructure, Engineering and Operations whilst also engaging with the wider ERTMS team.
Managing stakeholder relationships across a diverse set of stakeholders from driver managers, competency development managers, drivers, signallers, and other operational interfaces. You will be able to adapt your communication approach to suit the specific needs of the stakeholder. Working collaboratively internal and external stakeholders will be integral to ensuring the success of this role.
You'll need to develop a general understanding of how the ERTMS system works on the Thameslink Core and elsewhere on the GTR network.
