My client a property a London based property management company that owns over 900 residential and commercial properties in London is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to deliver a professional property and facilities management service to the client and tenants
The role is office based but would be out visiting properties to ensure sites are compliant, best practice and contract terms are met.
Duties include;
Manage on site contractors and building managers
Work as part of the property management team alongside the lettings and legal team
Attend meetings in connection with day-to-day property management
Manage multi occupied properties as well as commercial (retail, industrial units etc)
Be responsible for the service charge budgets
Assist in the procurement of contractors
Manage and assist in the forecast of maintenance expenditure
Liase with Tenants on all matters concerning common areas and some parts of accommodation
A good understanding of management accounts functions i.e credit control dealing with tenant service charge queries
Ensure the implementation of and compliance of Fire and Health & Safety at all properties.
Ideally you will be IOSH or NEBOSH qualified
Experienced in service charges, reading leases and legal documents to interpret repair and maintenance liabilities
Salary up to 60k (will consider more for the right person) + 25 days a per annual leave
Fully onsite (occassion work from home when required)
