We have an exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Manager based in Biggleswade for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. Our client is a large, growing and reputable manufacturer and supplier of construction equipment on a national and international scale. They are looking for someone to cover South West England including Devon, Cornwall and Somerset.
Responsibilities of the Area Sales Manager
Ensure products are included in key customer promotional campaigns.
Train and develop programs for customers to ensure they understand the full benefits of their products.
Involved in the development of new accounts to grow the number of stockists.
Journey/call plan and maintain daily activity reports.
Management of nominated accounts.
Attend trade and consumer shows.
Distribute brochures and point of sales.
Merchandise machines.
Competitor research and analysis.
Requirements for a successful Area Sales Manager
Previous Sales Management experience in a similar industry.
Target-driven with a passion for sales.
Outstanding communication skills with ability to build a rapport with people of all levels.
Computer literate.
Commercially astute.
Full driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.

Salary: £47,000 - £52,500 plus bonus and car
