Bid Manager
Location: Manchester or Liverpool
Salary: Upto £50,000 per annum depending on experience
Are you passionate about driving success and delivering winning proposals? This established consulting engineering firm with over 60 years of experience and 14 offices across the UK and Ireland, is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Bid Manager to join their team in Manchester or Liverpool.
The Role
As a Bid Manager, you will take the lead in managing and driving our bid process, collaborating with multiple business units and project leaders to create compelling and persuasive proposals. You'll help us secure exciting new projects across all sectors while ensuring adherence to company governance and delivering exceptional value to clients.
Lead and inspire bid teams to achieve successful tender outcomes.
Develop winning bid strategies in collaboration with Business Development Managers and Sector Directors.
Oversee tender commercial strategies and manage internal bid meetings.
Ensure the timely production of high-quality bid documents using tools like Adobe InDesign.
Foster relationships with clients and partners, coordinating bid interviews and post-tender meetings.
Provide feedback and handover winning bids to our project delivery teams.What You'll Bring:
Proven experience in managing bids within the construction or civil infrastructure engineering sectors.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple bids simultaneously.
Creative flair and a proactive, can-do attitude.
APMP certification (or working towards one).
