Madisons Recruitment are actively seeking a Quality Manager for a client of ours based in Stansted, Essex.
Responsibilities
Resolving and/or reporting technical problems/design issues to design manager
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Identify and address any quality issues or defects in a timely manner.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Managers, and Contractors to ensure quality standards are met.
Review and approve construction plans, specifications, and materials for quality assurance.
Train and mentor staff on quality control processes and best practices.
Prepare and present quality reports to senior management.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Present findings and key issues at the Directors Site Visit Meetings.
Assist Customer Care with complex post-completion defects.
Requirements
Full UK Driving Licence
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Building Surveying, or a related field would be beneficial.
To have proven experience as a Quality Manager in the construction industry, preferably in home building.
To have a strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality standards.
To have excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
To have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
To have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
To have a detailed and in depth knowledge of the NHBC standards and building regulations requirements.
To be proficient in quality management software and tools – Fieldview mainly.
