Programme Manager - London/Hybrid - to £75k
Join a growing UK based Facilities Management organisation in their new Transformation department. The Programme Manager will design, implement and lead the Programme Management function which will include the following:
• To design, implement and lead IT/Technology programme Management Service
• To design, implement and lead Product development and deployment programme Management Service
• To support the M&T and Business standards Teams where required
Aims of this role will include:
• To design, implement and lead the Programme Management function in line with company strategic, operational, financial, and commercial objectives.
• To design, implement and operate the following frameworks:
o Programme Management
o Benefit Management
o Product/Service Development
o Product/Service Deployment
o Resource Management
o IT/Technology Programme Management
• To establish, lead and develop the Project Management team to ensure that team members are operating effectively.
• To ensure all programmes and projects are delivered on time, to the agreed quality standards, to the agreed budget
• To escalate and manage any risks or issues proactively
• To ensure that all existing and future projects and programmes are adequately resourced with Project Managers
• To perform the role of the Project Manager where required
• To establish solid relationships and networks with business operations and SMEs
What we are looking for:
• Extensive experience within a Programme Management role in a relevant service based industry
• Experience in managing IT Programmes
• Experience in managing Product Development Programmes
• Practitioner knowledge of one or more of the following:
o SDLC in Agile development environments
o PRINCE2 Project Management
o Agile Project Management
• Experience of managing projects in a change function
• Experience of Agile and Waterfall project management processes
• Ability to use MSP proficiently
