What your week will look like as a Payroll Officer:
Covering full group payroll across multiple companies
Checking temporary worker timesheets
Adding new starters, ensuring bank details are received
Holiday pay requests
Maintaining numerous pension schemes - both staff and temporary workers
Running end to end payroll - including HMRC updates, issuing payslips and processing attachment of earnings
Creating temporary and permanent invoices
Continuously improving processes and innovating beyond current processes as the company grows
Act as a first point of contact for day to day pay queries from temporary workers and employees
Running payroll and tax year end processes
Adhoc finance duties
Essential Skills & Experience:
Payroll/finance experience would be ideal
Analytical and excellent attention to detail
Strong data entry skills
Positive attitude
Keen to make improvements!
Ability to work independently and collaborate in the wider team
