Derivatives Business Analyst** (Contract)
Duration: 6 Months (Possibility for extension)
Location: Chester/Hybrid (3 days per week on site)
Rate: A highly competitive Umbrella Day Rate is available for suitable candidates
Role Profile
We are looking for a talented and innovative leader to join the team as a Business Analyst (BA) / Program Manager (PM) / Process Re-engineer (Business Process Reengineering) to oversee an exciting Digital Ledger Technology based program strategic transformation program and other work of a similar nature.
The role will require a person who understands the trade lifecycle for Derivatives and a strong set of BA/PM/BPR skillset to own and drive this program across the Global Markets space and beyond.
Responsibilities:
Lead and sustain change initiatives, leveraging your significant experience in Global Operations and Process Redesign or change management.
Apply your in-depth understanding of the business and markets supported by Markets Operations to drive large programmes across the organisation.
Utilise your strong knowledge of process design methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, and Agile to implement efficient and effective workflows.
Communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, managing competing priorities and multiple stakeholders.
Apply project governance principles to ensure successful change implementation, including documentation/reporting, tollgates, risk identification, and issue tracking.
Demonstrate strong organisational skills, including the ability to manage multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, and pay attention to detail.
Analyse complex problems and provide innovative solutions to teams, transferring your knowledge and expertise.
Requirements:
Proven ability to drive change and sustain it, with significant experience in Global Operations and/or Process Redesign or change management.
Deep understanding of the business and markets supported by Markets Operations.
Experience leading large programmes across an organisation, delivering on time and navigating effectively.
Strong knowledge of process design methodologies, such as Six Sigma, Lean, and Agile.
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Ability to apply project governance principles to change initiatives.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise.
Ability to analyse and solve complex problems and transfer knowledge to teams.
Motivated self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and fluid requirements.
Demonstrable leadership skills, having led and inspired teams in the past.
Experience in influencing diverse stakeholders and understanding future business needs.
Strong collaborative mindset, driving efforts to advance tools, technology, and ways of working.
