Blackpool Sixth is an outstanding college specialising in 16-19 education and we have opportunities for Cleaners to join our team.
This post is college staff term time only and your usual working hours will be Monday to Friday from 4pm until 7pm. There's a lot to do, you'll make sure that the college is clean and tidy but if you're someone who likes to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in, this could be the role for you.
Our cleaners are an essential part of our college team. In this permanent position, you will be relied upon to ensure both student areas and staff areas are clean and tidy and kept looking brand new every day.
Duties will include:

To be responsible for the cleaning of the college buildings and estate, under the supervision of the cleaning team leaders.

To occasionally assist the Estates department with other routine duties.

To cover the work of absent colleagues wherever possible within your standard working hours.

To comply with all health and safety requirements as set out by the college.

To comply with all policies and procedures of the college.

To be actively involved in training and professional development activities relevant to the role.

Comply with the college’s safeguarding procedures and contribute to making the college a safe learning environment
