Overview
This is an opportunity for an established Technical Manager or someone who is ready to step up to the Technical Manager level to join a rapidly growing business.
You will work to supply the major retailers including M&S and Tesco within a very fast paced environment.
It’s a multi-site business and the possibilities for career growth are endless. There are a number of examples of people rising through the Technical ranks within the business.

The Role
-
To manage the Weston technical function.

To manage retail customer requirements and expectations.

To represent the business and engage with external suppliers to lead and develop their standards.

To manage the site technical teams & quality manager, training and developing their capabilities
-
To align process and procedures where possible across customers
-
To build and report group KPI’s for site standards, product quality, compliance, culture and specifications
-
To put in place and manage plans to improve KPIs were required
-
Horizon scanning for change and legal updates that could affect the business and communicate to the wider team.

Work with HACCP team – supporting and aligning to ensure meetings happen and learnings made

To ensure supplier compliance is standardised with effective performance monitoring and annual reviews.

To promote a quality and audit ready everyday culture

To build process that encourages and necessitates internal cross functional collaboration
The Candidate

A proven track record of achievement within Technical
-
Experience of working for a business which supplies major UK retailers
-
Experience within a fast-paced environment
-
Experience of managing/coaching/developing
