Highly successful US Manufacturing company seek to recruit part or fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA Finance Manager for a newly created role at superb offices based in Slough
About the role
Reporting to the Divisional Finance Director the Finance Manager will be responsible for producing the monthly management accounts pack, balance sheet review and profit & loss analysis. Key duties will include

Preparation of year end statutory accounting in US GAAP

Preparation of gross profit reports
-
Profit & loss reporting and variance analysis

Responsible for month end close
-
Reporting on financial KPIs
-
Month end, quarterly, and annual reporting
-
Preparation of management accounts pack for review
-
Monthly VAT returns
-
Monthly update of the fixed assets register
-
Preparation of working capital information
-
Reconciliation and analysis of nominal ledger
-
Preparation of monthly accruals and pre-payments
-
Balance sheet reconciliations
-
Liaison with external auditors
-
Ensuring compliance to Sarbanes-Oxley
-
Management of a small finance team
About you
-
Applicants will be part qualified or qualified ACCA/ACA or CIMA
-
In addition you will have excellent month end or year end accounting experience
-
Ideally you will have gained experience within a large international group
-
Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX controls advantageous
