Job Title: Sales Manager
Location: Bromsgrove
Hours: 08:00-17:00 Monday – Thursday, 08:00-15:00 Fridays
Pay: £35-£50 (dependant on experience)
Contract: Permanent
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager for a client based in Bromsgrove. The company manufacture and supply pumps and motors which can be either bespoke or general market, the client are looking for someone with industry related sales experience and has excellent sales closing skills.
OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE:

Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of the products

Achieve company objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals, analysing performance data, and making forecasts

Generate leads, and establish and nurture client relationships in local and international markets
-
To be second in demand to the Business Manager Director.
BRIEF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base in local and foreign markets and ensure its strong presence.

Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.

Maintaining and building on original equipment manufacturer and Key Accounts.

Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of products and competition status.

Identifying price positioning to competitors
-
Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.

Tracking sales goals and reporting results, as necessary.
-
Ability to cold call on prospective clients.

Scheduling sales visits.
-
Liaising with existing clients.
-
Meeting monthly set targets.
-
Meeting deadlines for weekly and monthly reports.
-
Preparing proposals, and quotations.
-
Providing pre-sales and post-sales support.

Reviewing cost and sales performance
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Level 5 NVQ

Strong business sense and industry expertise

Strong management and leadership skills
-
Excellent communication, interpersonal and telephone skills

Meticulousness, accuracy, and attention to detail

Valid Driver’s License

At least 3 -5 years’ Sales Experience - Industry related

Ability to work under pressure

Experience calling on customers

Experience in export markets
