Finance Assistant Opportunity:
I am seeking an experienced Finance Assistant who is a forward thinking individual with the confidence and motivation to turn their hand to new challenges and opportunities and hit the ground running! My client are a successful construction subcontractor who predominantly supply for major office fit out contractors in London. Ideally they are looking for someone who has worked in the construcition sector and have a soild background in accounts.
Loction: Liverpool Street, London
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (Experience Depent)
Reporting Structure: Commerical Director and Finance Director
Roles and Responsibiltes:

Administration of supplier invoices and subcontractor applications.

Manage and provide training to the Purchase Ledger Assistant and other staff as required.

CIS processing, reconciliation and HMRC submissions

Credit Control.

Reconciliation of supplier and client accounts including prompt resolution of all queries.

Administration of credit card statements, coding each expense and applying appropriate VAT to be reclaimed.

Collation of staff time sheets, extracting the relevant data to update the monthly cost allocation schedule and posting of the corresponding journal entries.

Processing monthly cost transfers, accruals and prepayments

Preparation of weekly/monthly payment lists with consideration of cashflow/payment.

Annual completion of staff P11D benefit in kind return forms.

Completion of supplier PQQs and credit application forms.
