Health & Safety Manager or Advisor required on a freelance basis to carry out H&S site inspections across a number of commercial office interior fit-out projects across the south of England - mainly, Berkshire/Thames Valley, Hants and Bristol.
The H&S Manager will travel to each project at appropriate intervals to evaluate the processes and procedures, ensuring all site operatives and subcontractors are working in a safe manner. Basic H&S checks: RAMS, Risk Assessments, H&S File, Induction Records, Accident Book, Fire Procedures (regular emergency drills), use of stepladders, quality checks on work equipment, dust levels, noise levels, PPE etc.
Reports will then be returned to the company H/O for review and to address any issues that may have arisen during the site inspection
Travel expenses will be paid (mileage) in addition to day rate which is fully negotiable (advertised figures as a guide only).
The H&S Manager/Advisor will need to hold a recognised H&S qualification (NEBOSH/IOSH) and have previous experience of working in a construction related position
