Payroll Assistant – Long Eaton – Part Time
Approach Personnel are pleased to be working with a reputable Shopfitting Contractor to recruit a Payroll Assistant as part of their Nottinghamshire based office, working to manage the companies accounts and bookkeeping processes. This role is part-time, requiring two days in the office.
This role is pivotal to the function of the company, helping them to ensure all payroll and accounts functions are carried out in a timely manner, as well as supporting their administrative needs.
Day-to-Day
As Payroll Assistant, here’s what your day could look like:
Working with software such as Sage to process payroll to subcontractors and staff, reviewing timesheets to ensure accurate shift records are being maintained and payments are correct
Answering the phone, taking customer, supplier and subcontractor enquiries and helping to find the solution
General administrative duties such as filing, photocopying and managing records/reports
Managing supplier information and invoices, processing PO information and monitoring contracts
About You
Previous experience in the shopfitting industry or an adjacent industry is very beneficial
Proven experience in a Payroll, Bookkeeping or Accounts Administration role
Proficient in the use of payroll softwares such as Sage
Well spoken, well written and computer literate
Salary and Contract Details
Monday and Tuesday, 7:00am – 5:00pm
£29,000 pro rata – paid hourly
Annual Leave Allowance – Pro Rata
