Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Shipley
Salary: >£30,000 + benefits

Responsibilities:
Processing sales invoices for all income streams on CASH/Sage, ensuring the correct recognition of VAT
Preparation of regular debtors report for review by the Senior Management Team
Sending out customer statements and liaising with customers to confirm payment dates
Reconciliation of customer accounts and dealing with any disputes
Posting bank transactions to Sage and reconciling the bank account on a daily basis
Preparation of basic month end reconciliations, as well as posting of journals for month end adjustments
Responsibility for maintenance of the fixed asset register and posting of depreciation and asset disposal adjustments
Preparation of wages and salary information for communication to the payroll provider
Managing and processing employee expenses
Regularly reviewing key controls within the business and ensuring compliance
Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and ongoing P&L forecasts
Effective management of the Company's working capital which is critical to future growthExperience:
Accounting experience necessary, particularly in sales ledger
Knowledge of Sage 50/Sage 200 desirable
Previous experience with cloud based customer portals
Education and Qualifications:
AAT Level 4 or QBE in a relevant role
