About the Role:
GSL Education Hull is currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Supply Teacher to join a reputable secondary school in Hull. This role offers both part-time and full-time opportunities, providing flexibility for candidates. As a Supply Teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring continuity of education during staff absences, contributing to the academic and personal development of students across various subjects.
Job Summary:
The Supply Teacher will be responsible for stepping into different classrooms as needed, maintaining a high standard of teaching and learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. This role requires a versatile educator who can quickly adapt to new environments, establish rapport with students, and deliver engaging lessons that meet curriculum standards.

Responsibilities of a Supply Teacher:
Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across various subjects as required.
Quickly adapt to different classroom environments and establish effective relationships with students.
Implement pre-prepared lesson plans or create engaging lessons that meet curriculum standards.
Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with other staff members to support student progress and well-being.
Qualifications of a Supply Teacher:
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
Strong classroom management skills.
Ability to quickly adapt to different teaching environments.
Brilliant communication and interactive skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
