apprentice OPERATIONS CO-ORDINATOR

Our client a leading Engineering supplier to organisations throughout the UK is looking for a Trainee to learn the role of an Operations Coordinator to schedule appointments for Engineers to visit sites throughout the UK. The role is solely office based in Chorley working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Inline with the companys growth plan and continued success and expansion, a new opportunity for a Junior Operations Co-ordinator has come available, working out of their headquarters in Chorley, Lancashire
Reporting directly to the management team, you must be self-motivated, capable of organising and have a strong customer focus.
Our ideal candidate requirements:
- Processing and helping co-ordinate works
- Job costings (tracking, closing down jobs, emailing communications, job completion handover)
- Assisting with Drawings (fire zone charts and as fitted drawings, experience would be preferred but not essential as full training will be given)
- Liaising with team managers on a daily basis to ensure necessary tasks are completing before, during and after scheduled installation works.
- Job dockets

- Taking internal/external calls
- General admin duties (scanning, printing, filing etc.)
- Aspects of technical (would be preferred but not essential as full training will be given.)
- Completion of audit paperwork and job sheets, both manually and electronicall
- Alarms Admin
- Engineer asfitted
Additional Requirements / Skills:
- Be self-managed and able to work under your own initiative whilst still being a good team player
- Microsoft office experience
- Be reliable, organised, hardworking and have good planning skills
- Adherence to all company policies and procedures
- To act as a company ambassador
- Maintaining/developing good relations with both clients and colleagues
The wage applies to all apprentices aged under 19; and apprentices aged 19 or over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. As of April 1st 2024 the national minimum wage for apprentices is £6.40 an hour and applies to time working, plus time spent training that is part of the Apprenticeship
